Hudson Music Festival (Hudson)
The Hudson Music Festival wraps up its four-day celebration during the first weekend of August. If you’ve never wandered through Hudson during festival weekend, put this one at the top of your list.

August 5 – Jean-Philippe Sylvestre (piano) & Dominic Desautels (clarinet)
August 12 – Rising Stars Concert featuring Justin Saulnier (violin) & Emmanuel Roberts-Dugal (piano)

These evening concerts begin at 8:00 p.m. and make for a wonderful date night or relaxing evening with friends.

BEAU Farmers’ Market (Beaconsfield)
Friday afternoons are the perfect excuse to stop by Beaconsfield Farmers Market for fresh vegetables, local honey, baked treats and handmade products.

Pincourt Firefighters’ Day (Pincourt)
This is one of my favourite family events every summer. Firefighters’ Day has become a community tradition with inflatable games, demonstrations, food trucks, children’s activities, live entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to meet our local firefighters. It’s a fun day that brings neighbours together and is perfect for families with young kids.

Regional Grill Festival (Saint-Zotique)
BBQ lovers, this one’s for you! The Regional Grill Festival brings together delicious food, live entertainment, local vendors, and family activities. Come hungry—you’ll definitely leave happy.

Montreal RibFest (Pierrefonds)
If you love BBQ, this is one weekend you won’t want to miss! Montreal RibFest returns to Pierrefonds Community High School with award-winning rib teams from across Canada serving up smoky ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and all the classic BBQ favourites.
August 20–22
Festival Artefact (Vaudreuil-Dorion)
Held at Le 405, Festival Artefact combines live concerts, food trucks, artisan vendors and family entertainment in a beautiful waterfront park. It’s easily one of the biggest events of the month.

🏡 Local Real Estate Market Update
The first half of 2026 has been another solid one for our local real estate market.
Across the West Island, well-priced single-family homes continue to attract strong buyer interest, with a median selling price of approximately $835,000 and homes selling in an average of 41 days during the second quarter of the year. Buyers have a little more choice than they did a year ago thanks to increased inventory, but desirable homes are still moving quickly.
In Vaudreuil-Soulanges, the market has remained equally healthy. The median price of a single-family home sits at approximately $629,000, with homes selling in just over a month on average. More listings are giving buyers additional options while helping keep the market balanced.
